The second day in Israel begins with sightseeing at Caesarea and Mount Carmel with a group service in the ampitheater at Caesarea. Members will enjoy lunch at Megiddo followed by sightseeing there and the area overlooking the Valley of Armageddon. From there, the group will travel to Nazareth, Nain, Cana and end at Tiberias.
Greetings from the Holy Land!
We wish that you all could be with us. At the posting of this note, it is 9:30 P.M. in Tiberias and in the states it is 3:30 AM. We have had a wonderful day of exploring the land of David and using our Bibles as our roadmaps. Already we traveled from the seaside to Mt. Carmel and the Valley of Armageddon. After lunch we had a service in the valley at the Tel Megiddo and traveled to Nazareth for a heart touching time at the well of Mary and the boy Jesus. Our closing study was in the village of Nain. There Jesus brought back to life the son of the widow. Jesus declared “weep not!’…
More to come in our updates from Israel keep us in your prayers.
Love, Pastor Ralph and the travelers.
Day number three in Israel will begin at the Sea of Galilee and a boat ride. There will be a group service on the Mount of Beatitudes. The tour will also visit Capernaum and have another group service at Chorazin. After a St. Peter's Fish Lunch at Kibbutz Kfar Blum, the travelers will make stops at Kuneitra, Bethsaida, and at the Jordan River Baptismal.
Good morning from the Holy Land!
It's 2:30 A.M. in North Carolina, but it's 8:30am in Israel, and The Holy Land Travelers are well into another day of adventure.
After breakfast in Tiberias, they hiked along the Jordan River. Next, they are headed to Gideon Springs and Bet She'an. Later today they will have lunch in the ancient city of Jericho, and then journey to the desert area of the Dead Sea.

Last night they enjoyed a sundown to moonlight service at Yardenit (at the Jordan River) where many were baptized. We look forward to hearing more about this special time!

Continue to pray for the safety of the group as they make their way through the homeland of our Savior.

Day Number 6 in Israel - After an overnight at the Dead Sea, the travelers will have an early wake up call to begin sightseeing in Masada, Ein Gedi and Qumran. After lunch in Qumran, the tour will head to the Old Jericho Road, the St. George Monastery, the Valley of the Shadow of Death, and the Good Samaritan Inn. Sunday's events will conclude with a sundown service on the Mt. of Olives as the group will arrive in Jerusalem.
Friday in the Holy Land (posted 10/20/2007)
What another wonderful day in Israel exploring the Holyland! We started the day by parking our buses and walking across the Jordan River. We had a great service at Gideon Springs and a demonstration of God’s selection of the final 300 for Gideon.
Our group wanted to spend the day in TEL BET SHEAN which is located 17 miles south of the Sea of Galilee. This historic treasure is an explorer’s delight.
Old Testament Jericho, New Testament Jericho, and modern Jericho were all visited today with a great lunch at The Mt. of Temptation visitor’s center.
We are now headed to the Dead Sea for two days of Discovery. Wish you all were with us!
E-mail a friend or family member to look at our pictures from the Holy Land.
Pray for us –see you soon!
Update from Pastor - Tuesday, October 23, 2007
Sunday in the Holy Land was marked with an unusual service service in the desert by the Dead Sea.
We all gathered under an Achachia Tree to study the Word of God. The Lord blessed our hearts with the study of the archer searching for the “special” wood to construct his arrows. Just as Jesus sought us out in the desert of sin, “We” were just what He was looking for! Praise the Lord for Grace and Mercy!
Monday morning was glory from another world! We met with believers from India, Canada, Japan, Sweden, Korea, Israel, Spain and the USA. Words cannot describe what the Lord did for us! We will try to tell you more later.
Pray for Us,
Pastor and the “EXPLORERS”
